Lexiconaut is a free web app for creating and sharing interactive questionnaires (called "lexicons") with friends, family, or any group. Each lexicon can include three types of questions: open-ended prompts, "Pick a Side" preference pairs, and "King of the Hill" tournament brackets. You share a link — respondents answer in their browser without needing an account. Think of it as a modern, digital friendship book.

Creating a lexicon takes about 2 minutes: sign in, click "Create New Lexicon" on your dashboard, add a title, choose your question types (General Questions, Pick a Side, and/or King of the Hill), fill in your questions, and hit "Create Lexicon". You'll get a shareable link instantly.

Yes, Lexiconaut is 100% free. You can create unlimited lexicons, share them with unlimited people, and read all responses at no cost. There are no ads, no paywalls, and no hidden fees. We may offer optional premium features in the future, but the full core experience will always be free.

You need to sign in to fill out a Lexicon. This helps us associate your responses with your name so the creator can see who answered.

Currently, answers cannot be edited after submission. We recommend reviewing your answers carefully on the review screen before hitting "Submit." We're working on an edit feature for a future update.

Your answers are visible to the Lexicon owner — the person who created the questionnaire. By default, other participants cannot see each other's answers unless the owner explicitly shares them.

You can delete your responses directly from your dashboard. Go to "My Responses" and click the delete icon on any response you'd like to remove.

To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 7 business days. Note that this will permanently remove all Lexicons you've created and all responses you've submitted.

All Lexicons you've created, along with all responses submitted to them, will be permanently deleted when you close your account. This action cannot be undone.
